The following near-real-time products from Earthprobe TOMS are computed operationally. Please note that TOMS Level 2 data is courtesy of NASA (GSFC 916). Latest information on the instrument is found at the NASA TOMS Homepage. To access the NASA TOMS ozone data products click here.

The DLR Level 3/4 products are derived by assimilating NASA TOMS Level 2 data into the 3D CTM ROSE/DLR. This site presents the latest images for the 56 hPa model level covering ozone, ozone loss, chlorine oxide and polar stratospheric clouds.

All data is based on the TOMS retrieval version 7 (we expect version 8 for late 2003). Currently 2 days are needed between TOMS measurements and level 3 generation. This is mainly due to the time until all input data (incl. wind fields for 24 h) is available. We currently work on a faster supply especially of the wind information.
