Methane columns from SCIAMACHY |
The dry air column averaged mixing ratio of methane (CH4), denoted XCH4, derived from SCIAMACHY near-infrared nadir spectra is a new data product. At the University of Bremen we retrieve XCH4 using a modified DOAS algorithm called WFM-DOAS. Our processing system is still under development and not yet fully operational and our data products have not yet been fully validated. Here we show some example results obtained with WFM-DOAS version 1.0.
